Scenic Burrows is a recording facility in the Pacific Northwest, designed as a creative workspace for recording artists, producers, and film composers.
The studio Rooms
Scenic Burrows has three separate studio rooms for tracking, mixing and playback. Each room features a unique gear and instrument list. However, we encourage borrowing a synth from our synth / pedal library or bringing in a select microphone from the mic closet to use for your session. Rooms can be booked individually or can interact and operate together.
ROOM A
Room A is the largest of the three rooms and is set up to accommodate large sessions, live drums and orchestral recordings, in studio performances with audience, as well as 5.1/7.1 mixing and playback flexibility for film mix or immersive audio scenarios.
ROOM C
The smallest of the three rooms, Room C was designed by Derek Trost as an accurate mix room with zero reflection and is an ideal space for mixing, score production and tracking. It houses our Yamaha U3 piano for recording, composing or just to practice. As well, the set up offers 5.1 with the Adam A7 speakers, as well as a pair of Focal Solo 6s.
ROOM B
Room B has a great selection of instruments and synths with easy 4-input access for quick tracking. The B Room can also be accessed from the large A room to be used as a second isolation room for tracking (IE drums, vocals, amps etc…) or it can be set up in reverse from the B room to the A room for a more classic control room to tracking room scenario.
THE SPARTAN
The 1949 Spartan Trailer is a retreat from the indoor studio, thoughtfully set up as a simple space for writing, recording, and playback. Whether you’re seeking a quiet place to work, a peaceful spot to nap, or a comfortable option for overnight stays during long sessions, the Spartan offers the perfect escape pod for creativity and rest.

KITCHEN, LOUNGE & patio
Scenic Burrows has a kitchen with dining area, couch, an outdoor patio with heater and a garden for hanging out.
